Nilai, 24 May 2010 – 10 Sen was never a small number to INTI
College when it took up the challenge to raise RM5000 (USD1600) in the college
campuses within mere one month. The Power of 10 Sen Director,
Mr Nicholas Lee was overwhelmed by their efforts,
he said “I am very touched by their self-initiative and ownership”
Power of 10 Sen is a campaign with a simple and compelling philosophy. We are not about collecting millions of dollars, we are about empowering millions of children. Thus, from the time when our first campaign was launched in 2008, we have been able to garner the support and participation of many kindergartens, schools, anduniversities nationwide. Power of 10Sen has also formed various meaningful partnerships with similar-minded non-government organizations (NGO’s) all intent on serving the most vulnerable of our society while creating an impact on young people in the world. One of our most important supporting government bodies is the Malaysian Ministry of Education which allows us to run our campaigns in classrooms across the country. Power of 10Sen’s dedicated patron also happens to be the current First Lady of Malaysia, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor. Very many generous corporate organizationshave also helped to sustain us over the years, and for that we are truly grateful.
