Study Aid is a social based non-profit fund raising and resource generating initiated by Pertubuhan Amal Seri Sinar (P.A.S.S.) with the objective of creating an avenue for the social concerned citizens and corporate organizations to channel their funds for charity and their resources effectively. In our social outreach work, we realized that helpless single mothers, the unemployed broken families and lower income groups are seriously affected by the current economic slowdown and high inflation rate. With just weeks left before year 2014 school reopens, they are facing hardships to buy text books, stationeries, uniforms and even daily necessities for their children. We are cooperating with school principals, “Persatuan Ibu-Bapa & Guru”, PIBG, and community leaders to identify and effectively help these deserving hardcore cases.
 
Over the years in our social and charity work, we have came across so many individuals as well as entrepreneurs, petty traders and corporations who have the heart to contribute towards the needy schools and children, especially the primary and secondary schools… but do not know the right channel. Furthermore, some had difficulties in identifying the school and pupils who are in desperate need of real help.

Year on year, P.A.S.S. has faithfully donated an increasing amount to help more and more needy pupils as shown above.  The money raised is from the anniversary charity dinner including total collections by the general public during the financial year. The organizing cost of the charity dinner and the day to day administrative expenses is fully borne by P.A.S.S.
 
Donors giving from RM5.00 and above will be issued an official receipt. Records of donors and beneficiaries will be fully displayed in the studyaid.org.my website and annual bulletin. The accounts will be audited by a renowned audit firm to declare absolute transparency and accountability to gain public confidence in our charity.

Focus Areas
Our areas of focus are the National type or Chinese or Tamil vernacular type Primary Schools nationwide. All funds and aids (resources) are provided directly to the schools or PIBG. We normally receive aid request direct from the school principal or teachers concerned and we will respond accordingly. On most cases the demand is more than we could provide. That’s why we have decided to create this platform to function more effectively.

We treat every call as an act of desperation from teachers and schools to immediately respond to a needy cause. At studyaid.org.my, we are committed.

 

The studyaid.org.my provides many opportunities for you and your company to contribute to Malaysian needy pupils. In this modern age, we should not deprive of the basic needs for a needy pupil to attend elementary education. The principle of equality before humanity should be respected especially for children of school age.

Donate excess inventories, office supplies or miscellaneous items to our Study Aid Center for Educational Materials, where teachers shop for free to supply their classrooms with additional items and materials. From paper to excess pencils, stationeries, bags to unused office supplies, our school teachers can use it in their classroom. You could also donate school uniforms, bicycles, shoes etc.

Donate directly to The Study Aid fund as little as RM5.00 to support the many programs in our public schools. We offer many giving opportunities to suit your interests. You may either choose to donate access funds you or your company may have on a one off basis or regular basis.

Students Care Students Campaign (SCSC) is initiated to help link hundreds of thousand students who are well to do to help deprived students nationwide with their humble contributions. This outreach program is design to link well to do students to cultivate a habit of giving, caring and sharing even little resources such as their pocket money, shopping funds etc. to those deprived students.
